Every check your press needs
Every validator, explained in detail. Jump to the one you care about or read them all.
File format
Turns away anything that is not a file type you accept, before it enters the queue.
You decide which formats a campaign accepts (PDF by default). Entregarte checks both the extension and the real file type, so a renamed or wrong-format file is rejected at upload instead of failing later in processing.
File size
Reject files above the size limit so customers compress before uploading.
You set a maximum file size per campaign. When a file exceeds it, Entregarte rejects it instantly and tells your client to compress or re-export it, so you avoid failed uploads and clogged queues.
PDF preflight
Color mode, embedded fonts, page count, dimensions - all in one check.
A full PDF check: color mode (CMYK/RGB), properly embedded fonts, page count, and expected dimensions with tolerance. It bundles the most common prepress mistakes into a single validation.
Image DPI
Catches low-resolution images that would print pixelated.
It checks the resolution of every image embedded in the PDF and flags any below the DPI you need for a sharp print, showing the exact value found. You catch pixelated images before they reach the press.
Image quality
Color space, ICC profile, and transparency analysis per image.
It goes beyond DPI: it analyses each image colour space (CMYK/RGB), whether it carries an ICC profile, and any transparency that might not flatten cleanly. It catches the colour issues that would change the printed result.
Safe margin
Ensures content stays out of the cutting zone.
It measures the printable area inside the bleed and checks that text and key elements respect the safe margin you set in millimetres. It keeps important details like phone numbers or logos from being trimmed off.
Bleed & crop marks
Confirms the PDF carries the bleed and trim marks the press needs.
It compares the document area with its trim area to confirm the file carries bleed, and detects crop marks at each corner. You make sure the file is ready to cut with no white edges showing.
White overprint
Flags white elements set to overprint, which vanish on press.
A white object left on overprint prints as nothing - the paper shows through where ink was expected. Entregarte scans the PDF for white fills and strokes set to overprint and flags them, so a logo or line of text does not disappear on the press.
Special finish separation
Checks that foil, UV and other finishes sit on their own spot separations.
Special finishes like foil, spot UV, emboss or varnish must be defined as named spot colours, not mixed into the process plates. Entregarte detects finish layers by name and confirms they are proper separations, so the finishing house gets a plate it can actually use.
Artwork size
Catches artwork floating in an oversized canvas with empty margins.
A common export mistake leaves a small design centred on a much larger page padded with white. Entregarte measures the real artwork against the document size and flags the gap, so the job is not scaled wrong or printed with unintended borders.
Job spec match
Compares the file against the specs you quoted for the campaign.
Entregarte takes the dimensions, colour mode, bleed, page count, DPI and finishes you quoted for the campaign and checks the uploaded file against every one of them at once. If the artwork does not match what was ordered, you know before it reaches production.
QR & link content
Reads QR codes and visible URLs and confirms they point where they should.
It decodes QR codes and extracts visible URLs from the design, then uses AI to confirm they point to the right destination per the brief. It avoids reprints caused by a QR that leads to the wrong site.
AI design review
Visual AI reviews each page for typos, layout issues, and missing elements.
Each page is reviewed by visual AI for typos, layout problems, low contrast, or missing elements. Findings come back sorted by severity, so you only deal with what really matters.
